Bunny Pool Reboot

Hello Bunny Fam,

For the past week, the price of BUNNY has been extremely volatile. Consequently, for the near term, the Team has re-applied the Bunny Distribution to purchase BUNNY on the open market for all claiming transactions as part of the ordinary operation of the FRE.

Please keep in mind that using the Bunny Distribution for the market buy of BUNNY as part of the operation of the FRE accomplishes the following:

1. It exerts upward buy pressure on the price of BUNNY, and
2. It reduces the amount of BUNNY minted by replacing the minting of BUNNY for the Bunny Distribution with BUNNY that is bought on the open market.

It remains the goal of Team Bunny to return to the original tokenomics of the Bunny Distribution-as-Community Profit Share as soon as possible.

In the meantime, until such a time that Team Bunny can re-institute the direct Community Profit Share mechanism through the Bunny Pools, we will implement Bunny Pool rewards sufficient to maintain average APYs of over 120% for the BUNNY-BNB pool and over ~50% for the Bunny Maximizer Pool.

Once we have determined that the price of BUNNY will remain robust against near term volatility, we will be able to reinstitute the application of the Bunny Distribution to distribute the Community Profit Share through the Bunny Pools.

The successful launch of Qubit will contribute significantly to achieve this result sooner rather than later. For those of you who have been tracking Qubit’s performance, we have accumulated a TVL of over $325M in under 72 hours, thanks to the amazing support of the Community, which TVL already places the platform firmly within the ranks of the Top 10 Defi Lending Projects.

Qubit will contribute to the performance of PancakeBunny in two important ways:

1. Qubit will enable the re-activation of the Smart Leverage feature of our Single Asset Vault smart contracts, resulting in significantly higher auto-compounding APY’s, and
2. The migration of funds from the current SAVs to the Qubit SAVs will be accompanied by the launch of the QBT Pool on PancakeBunny, which will generate a QBT Rewards Multiplier for all of our PancakeBunny SAVs as a whole.
